Implant Revision with Internal Bra (Mesh)

Implants can apply pressure to the surrounding tissue. Sometimes the tissue cannot withstand the pressure and the implant breaks through the natural tissue support. An internal bra, or absorbable mesh support called Galaflex HD Mesh, is a useful tool for giving the implant support. The mesh turns into your body's own collagen as it is replaced with scar tissue. In some cases the implants are also downsized in an effort to reduce the pressure on the repair.
